A very good looking, well made and decorative large Library armchair, it is exceptionally comfortable having a deep and wide seating area. The carving is second to none, absolutely lovely throughout, this is pure art furniture from every angle
It is of course a modern version of the original by Grendey which if they ever came up for auction would achieve a price in the six figures, they are unobtainable for anyone of than the famously wealthy and museums
Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished the timber, there will be good honest patina as mentioned but nothing negative to note, the Damask upholstery seems to be in fine order
