About the Item

The B-7522 armchairs was designed in the 1960s by Zenon Baczyk, it was produced by Swarzedz furniture factories in Poland. This is original vintage armchair after renovation, they are not new! Furniture kept in perfect condition, after full upholstery and wood renovation. Stabile and very comfortable armchair, dressed in high-quality pleasant to touch fabric. We can prepare this armchair also in another fabric and wood color. About the Designer: Zenon Baczyk - Graphic designer, designer of furniture and industrial forms. Member of the "LAD" Artists' Cooperative. He collaborated with Swarzedzkie Fabryki Mebli, for whom he designed the B-7522 armchair in the 1960s, and with Goscicinska Fabryka Mebli, for whom in 1978 he designed the Wars chair with a rattan seat and backrest, recognized as the best chair of the year 1978/79 on the market in United States. He took part in the jubilee exhibition of the "LAD" Artists' Cooperative in 1967, where he presented a set of residential furniture. The Duo design line by Baczyk won the title of "Good Design IWP 2005" in 2005. In recent years, he has been cooperating with the company Meble Meble Klose Sp. z o.o., for which he designed several sets of furniture, e.g. Amber, Opus, Trump, Diana and Milo. In 2009, the cooperation of the artist, the Fresh Brand Design agency and the Klose company with the Poznan University of Life Sciences and the Department of Heart Diseases in Poznan resulted in the creation of the Health-Inspired Furniture program.
