About the Item
Marvelous vintage Ming style armchairs comprised of rosewood frames & removeable pink velvet seat cushions made in China a pair. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th Century.
Fraternal Twins are genetically distinct, share half of their genomes, and may or may not resemble one another…. Folks, meet our Fabulous Fraternal Twins!!! They do share similar DNA as far as their incredible rosewood frames bearing the most WONDERFUL wood grain, straight legs with Ming style front feet, and pretty pink velvet removeable seat cushions with a unique shape that almost resembles a square puzzle piece… and that is where the “twinning” ends!! One chair has a solid center back slat and a more rounded seat back and outward curved arms while the other has a back slat featuring a lovely carved scenic detail, a more squared back appearance, and arms that bear a slighter outward curve and outward pointed arm ends. They look absolutely STUNNING sitting side by side and they would be GREAT host & hostess chairs at your dining table. They would also be wonderful accent chairs in your sitting room or marvelous side chairs in your living or family room. Or if you must… separate them and use one in one bedroom and one in another. These chairs are twins in all of the best ways as they are both aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, comfortable, and exude a lovely Ming style you are sure to love for years to come!! I mean, who doesn’t love pink velvet & Rosewood!! They are marked “Made in China” and are exactly what the designer ordered. What are you waiting for? Do it… make them YOURS!!!
