Pair of Chinese Qing period bamboo arm chairs with plain flat elm wood seat. Backrest with typical Chinese geometrical fretwork patterns. Both chairs has a nice burgundy lacquer with beautiful natural age-related patina highlighted by a clear lacquer finish. Original condition. China, 1830-1840. Sold as a pair
