About the Item
A pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty period armchairs from the 19th century, with open backs, scrolling arms, carved aprons and low stretchers. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, each of this pair of armchairs features an open back with straight splat and slightly curving upper rail, connected to two arms showcasing scrolling effects. These arms are flanking a wooden seat with central planked board and waisted edges, resting on four straight legs.
