Pair 19th Century French Armchairs Louis XV Style

About the Item

This beautiful pair of 19th Century armchairs in the French Louis XV style, features a comfortably curved and enveloping back and a loose, but tailored, padded seat cushion. Upholstered in cream Damask fabric, these chairs, with their deep and wide seats, are designed for lounging in comfort. It’s a very chic pair of 'fauteuils cabriolets' armchairs, their frames sculpted with great finesse. These wonderful chairs, with their curved and enveloping backrests, and broad, padded seats (originally designed to accommodate the voluminous dresses of the era) make these extremely comfortable chairs. The fabric might need cleaning. This artwork, never before on the market, comes from a private collection. Every item of our Gallery, upon request, is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Sabrina Egidi official Expert in Italian furniture for the Chamber of Commerce of Rome and for the Rome Civil Courts.
