About the Item

Pair of high-back lounge chairs supported by carved walnut conical feet attributed Ico Parisi (1950s, Italy). Slender, tall, wing-back form with sweeping, dramatic lines producing a sharply modernist aesthetic. Raspberry microsuede upholstery was likely an 1980s/1990s addition. Upholstery is sound and usable as is, but could also benefit from an update. Walnut feet show natural patina / light wear consistent with age and use. Literature: Featured in Roberto Aloi: Esempi di Arredamento di Tutto il Mundo: Tavoli, Tavolini, Carrelli, 1953 (Second Series), page 118 H: 41.25" x L: 31.25" x D: 32" Seat Height: 17" Arm Height: 22.5".
