Rare Pair of Italian Armchair by Mario Oreglia

$8,583.38per set

About

Attractive pair of armchairs designed by architect Mario Oreglia in late 1949. The armchairs present an iconic geometric play where a seductive, vibrant line is exalted, where balance of form and rigorous lines meet to create a sculptural seat. The armchairs have been restored in bold Italian velvet. The perfectly conical feet in walnut wood adapt to its vibrant physicality. The backrest is surrounded by two triangular shaped enveloping ears. Its seat is instead housed by two soft cushions that increase the comfort zone. Publication:- The armchairs were designed on Domus n °237 pg 52 of 1949.- Mobili di architetti e Progettisti Torinesi pag 164 dal 1945-1965.
