About the Item

An attractive & very comfortable pair of giltwood fauteuils, both frames decorated with carved & molded foliate motifs, showing arched crest-rails with upholstered backs, sided by padded armrests terminating to carved grips over generously proportioned seats, raised overall on toupie supports.

    Reupholstered. Repaired: The front support of one fauteuil with an earlier repair, slightly skewed backwards but very stable. Wear consistent with age and use. Areas of rubbing to gilding consistent with age & use, refreshed over time using various applications.
