A very handsome pair of 19th century Anglo-Indian armchairs, showing richly figured padouk wood frames of pegged construction, with caned backs & seats sided by swept armrest atop flaring & reeded supports, raised overall on reeded front supports and squared rear stile supports. Early repairs as noted and observed in the images.

    Repaired: The frames showing earlier conservation to the seat rails & backs as observed in the online images. The caning in both frames was most likely replaced several years ago, and is in very good condition. Rewoven. Wear consistent with age and use.
