Palle Suenson & Jacob Kjær - Scandinavian Modern A rare executive desk chair by Danish Modenist Architect Palle Suenson (1904-1987) and cabinetmaker Jacob Kjær (1896-1957) a special order for the executive offices in Burmeister & Wain in Copenhagen, 1948. The armchair has a swivel function that also will adjust the height. The materials are walnut, brass and leather with brass nails. Literature: Danske kunsthåndværkeres arkiv, The library at The Danish Museum of Art & Design. Excellent condition, very comfortable and arketype of an executive desk chair.
