About the Item

A beautiful mid-century armchair GFM-142, designed by Edmund Homa. The armchair was made in the 1960s in the Gosciecinska Furniture Factory. Made from solid beech wood. The GFM-142 armchair is regarded one of the best Polish armchair design from the previous age. The armchair has been thoroughly renovated. The tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams - upholstery fabric of the highest quality - boucle in amazing burgundy/wine color (Sumac). Fabric - is a textured wool bouclé available in 23 attractive colours. Check the last pictures with colors. Durable but refined quality, this unique textile is inherently FR with no need for treatment and suitable for all low and high traffic areas. Ismay is made from 98% natural fibres and creates a rare individual look when upholstered. 54% wool 19% cotton 15% viscose 10% linen 2% polyester 70,000 rubs (Martindale) Samples available on request.
