Walnut Fauteuil or Armchair with Contemporary Upholstery, 18th Century and Later

About the Item

Armchair in carved walnut wood, gilded and in its color. 18th century, with current upholstery. Armchair with light cabriolet legs secured with H-shaped chambras, curved arms decorated with a scroll at the front, “à la reine” backrest with a crown composed of a vegetal garland around a circular mirror and vegetal ties. Certain elements respond to Neoclassicism, but the armchair typology still maintains in part some of the characteristic movement of baroque furniture, very softened." Size: 63 x 69 x 127 cms. Weight is orientative.
