Pair of Midcentury Italian Iron Chairs Attributed to Tomaso Bruzzi

About the Item

This is a charming pair of circa 1960s Italian painted forged iron and tole arm chairs in a quasi-neoclassical style. The down scrolling arms and modified klismos form echo early 19th century French iron pieces, but then you come to the funky iron rope detailing and tassels. The chairs are attributed to/in the style of Tomaso Bruzzi and would add great interest to any space from period antique to modern.
