Cast white bronze and silk velvet bench. Veiled Chaise is the debut artwork by Linda Boronkay in collaboration with Charles Burnand Gallery. This piece is the embodiment of Boronkay’s approach to design and personal aesthetic; elegant, powerful, raw and emotive. Captured in white bronze with a relief that Boronkay, hand-crafted herself, Veiled Chaise, celebrates both masculine and feminine forms. The fluid movement of fabric appears to be draped over a stronger, solid form with the sensual silk velvet accentuating the contrast, androgyny and harmony that is synonymous with Boronkay’s design aesthetic.
