About the Item

A beautiful “Ed Archer” chair designed by Philippe Starck, manufactured by Driade Aleph in Italy in the 1980. This highly recognizable chair has an elegant, silver-coloured aluminium foot that beautifully contrasts with the rich cognac coloured leather upholstery. Its slender silhouette and elegant curves add really nicely to it’s aesthetic and make it an iconic design by Philippe Starck. The shape of the seat is gently curved, adding nicely to the seating comfort as well! A true design statement that will stand out in any interior, guaranteed to draw the attention of any design enthusiast. Marked “Aleph by Starck” in the leather, as shown in photos. The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
