Direct from France, a highly carved antique oak bench or stool. Superb hand carvings and craftsmanship, with carvings on all sides, even the scalloped trestle base.
Fabulous carved fleur de lis on either side create a stunning silhouette. We actually purchased this bench from a French estate that included a pair of chairs (sold separately) with barley twist legs and fleur de lis upholstery, where this bench was used between the arm chairs!!
Solid oak, hand carved by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.
Measurements: 17” ht. x 19.75” x 9.5”.
