Hand-carved in Italy, circa 1850, this wooden tabouret stool has a very pleasing light blue color with areas of gilded motifs. The sweeping legs are adorned with a roquillard with fluted ground. The shaped aprons are adorned with either pierced foliage or flowering cartouches.
