About the Item

For Airborne, France From the iconic seating designs by Olivier Mourgue featured in Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey' in 1968. Chair: H 66 / W 68 / D 68 cm Footstool: H 38 / W 68 / D 66 cm (seat H 34 cm) Mourgue, who trained in Paris and Scandinavia, was captivated by abstract sculptural forms made possible by advances in plastics manipulation.
