MCM Walnut & Ash Frame with Pink Fabric Lounge Chair Style of Dux or Kroehler

About the Item

Lovely vintage Mid-Century Modern lounge chair with walnut & ash frame and original pink fabric in the style of Dux or Kroehler and almost certainly American made. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The base has been refinished and the chair’s upholstery has been professionally cleaned (but I can still see a little discoloration on the arm fronts.) and the wood restored; however, it still retains a nice age patina. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century. My, my… Aren’t you pretty in pink!!! This is a wonderful mid-century modern lounge chair with similarities to styles by Dux and even Kroehler… but it has no tag so we can’t name the designer or maker for sure BUT no matter… it’s awesomeness speaks for itself! The seat sets inside a gorgeous walnut and ash frame with an angled back and curved, straight squared legs and a low stretcher across the back. It is wearing its original pretty pink fabric upon the seat back, low arms, and loose seat cushion. It’s almost slipper style but not quite as the arms are super low, and the seat has an ergonomically pleasing lean that creates superb comfort! All signs point most certainly being American made. This lounge chair is going to be marvelous in your bedroom, next to the sofa in the living room, in the study across from the fireplace, or any room that needs a touch of mid-century modern magnificence! Comfort, versatility, and it’s pleasantly pink! This lounge chair has it all! What are you waiting for? You simply MUST make it yours!!!!!
