About the Item

Offered here is a personal favorite, a rare lounge version the "Landmark" chair by Ward Bennett for Brickel Associates. Bennett's penchant for perfecting simplicity is exemplified in this design. Light and open, the chairs are constructed from ash bentwood and cane. This set will settle in well in many design settings; it can fit in a more minimalist space while also creating a bit of calm in a more maximalist space. Bennett was an autodidact in the design world. Involved with furniture, interior design, and architecture, for much of his career he was the sole designer for Brickel Associates, creating for them a number of iconic pieces. 24.75” W x 20.5” D x 30.5” H Seat Height: 16.75” Arm Height: 25.75”
