About the Item

A striking pair of modular teak bookcases designed by the acclaimed Danish duo Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for John Stuart Inc., circa 1960s. These finely crafted mid-century pieces showcase the clean lines and thoughtful craftsmanship characteristic of Danish modern design. Each bookcase features an elegant grid of open shelving in varying sizes, creating both visual interest and functional versatility for displaying books, decorative objects, or art. Constructed from rich teak wood, the natural grain and warm tone highlight the quality of the material. The design is further elevated by subtly tapered legs that lend a sense of lightness to the robust structure. The modular design allows for flexibility—use them side by side as a striking focal point or separately to suit your space. 2 Sets Available. Price is per set of 2.
