Pier Luigi Colli Credenza

About the Item

This 1950’s Italian credenza by Pier Luigi Colli embodies both elegance and exceptional craftsmanship. The front of this piece comprises four cabinet doors featuring a fluted wood detail. Another noteworthy aspect of this piece lies in its robust, tapered legs. These legs impart a chiseled appearance marked by vertical lined carvings. Despite their substantial foundation, these legs exude a sense of elegance. 2 missing cabinet hinge pins have been replaced. Center doors close and stay shut but do not lock. All other doors lock completely (see video) About Pier Luigi Colli Born in 1914, Colli’s career in the world of design began in the 1940s and flourished in the post-World War II era, aligning with the global mid-century design movement. His designs often featured high-quality materials, with an emphasis on fine woods such as walnut, which added warmth and sophistication to his pieces.
