About the Item
Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany Executive Desk is poised to become the focal point of any office! Crafted from exotic imported mahogany, it features a full wraparound design with subtly rounded front corners and a generous knee well that set it apart from other desks. The generous work surface is supported by a casework that is lavished with classical carved detail including foliates, florals, rosettes, ribbon and torcheres. Fluted pilasters embellished with carved detail provide a framework, and eight turned legs raise it up to just the right height for most. The "business" side of the desk in back features six drawers and a cabinet providing ample storage and organization opportunities. Finely detailed cast brass key guards complete the look.
