An elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. Mahogany, brass, and ormolu desk. The desk is raised by fine square tapered legs with elegant mottled fitted ormolu sabots. The straight frieze displays two drawers, each decorated with recessed panels with lovely richly chased circular mounts with beaded pulls framed within a mottled brass band. The top showcases the beautiful warm Mahogany grain with a fine mottled border.
