Milo Baughman Dresser & Mirror for Drexel Today’s Living Line Mid-Century Modern

Gorgeous vintage mid-century modern turquoise Lawson style 4 cushion sofa attributed to Milo Baughman for James Inc. Comprised of four loose zippered seat cushions, six tapered walnut legs, and turquoise hopsacking fabric with back button detail. This piece has been attributed based upon archived research including online sources, vintage documentation and catalogs, designer literature, and other materials. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The sofa deck has new fabric plus a new dust cover. It also has its original arm covers. We repaired a button with fabric found on bottom. It has been professionally shampooed. Legs were refinished. The foam in the cushions is soft, however it could use some more padding and new zippers. Handsome vintage Scandinavian Modern teak roll top desk or dresser. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. It has some visible wear, particularly in the top, so you can see some scratches and dings. And it has a newly modified recessed black painted base as it encountered water at some point in its life and could not be refinished so we revamped it, modified, and painted the base black.
