Rare Northern Swedish Antique Pine Secretary Clock Desk

About the Item

Rare Swedish antique clock secretary desk made around 1820 to 1840 in northern Sweden. The desk and body of the clock are made by hand in solid pine. It has a hinged desktop surface and interior drawers inside as well as the stately clock. Original paint with some authentic distress and patina. The locks and keys are in working condition. The clock comes with the original clock face and mechanism, weights and pendulum. The mechanism has been serviced and was working at the time the photographs were taken. However we do not leave any guarantees on the future function. These kinds of clocks often have a door in front of the clock face but this was made originally without a door. Height to the writing desk when folded down is 73.5 cm, the height of the secretary is 108.5 cm and the clock is 122 cm making the total height 230.5 cm. Depth measures 47 and 83 cm with the flap closed and opened respectively. Width is 111 cm.
