A very good quality late 19th Century French Louis XVI style secretaries abbattant, having bombe shaped sides, gilded rococo style scrolling ormolu mounts. Wonderful hand painted Verni Martin romantic to the centre of the fall, opening to reveal drawers and compartments within and an inset leather writing tablet. A single frieze drawer with a rural scene framed by ormolu mounts and raised on elegant cabriole legs terminating in scrolling ormolu feet. Batch 74 VHEZZ R
