French Henri II style oak bonnetiere, 19th c., the whole carved in foliates throughout, having pediment crest, flanked by gadrooned finials, single door, encasing beveled mirror plate, twist side supports, rising on bun feet, approx 103.5"h, 48"w, 24"d French Henri II Furniture is often adorned with carved arches and columns, stately pediments and attractive finials. Figurative carvings include male and female figures, faces and heads. For example, this gorgeous antique French Renaissance Henry II sideboard or server boasts having pediment crown, over grotesque mask crest.
