18th Century Carved Oak French Armoire
About the Item
18th century carved Oak French armoire has the original brass escutcheons and hinges. The cornice is carved with interlaced acanthus leaves and gadrooned molding. The frieze has a carved basket of flowers and grapes. The doors are carved with baskets of flowers and have shaped raised panels framed with carved moldings. The lower apron has matching baskets with flowers and grapes that match the carvings in the frieze. The cornice is removable, and the doors have lift off hinges.
