In a similar spirit to the skip table, the Wendel table's form is inspired by hydrodynamics. Like a large stone in a moving body of water, the Wendel Table holds its place in any setting. The honed black marble and oiled walnut give a strong contrast to the mellow shapes. Organic shapes and soft edges are striking contrasts to the hardness and density of stone. All pieces are handcrafted in our Brooklyn Studio.
Marble is sourced from throughout the world. The black stone shown in this particular model is Italian marble. We are always interested in new material combinations, and will gladly discuss custom options.
