About the Item

Milo Baughman (1923-2003) was a premier American designer and furniture pioneer who left an indelible mark on the progression of American furniture designs for many decades. He is best noted for his uniquely American furniture style of post-war America. His furniture was very innovative and forward-thinking yet affordable. Baughman worked for many furniture companies including Arch Gordon, Drexel, George Kovacs, Directional, and Thayer Coggin with whom he had a fifty-year relationship. In 1987, he was inducted into the Furniture Designer’s Hall of Fame. Walnut with ebony handles and brass legs. 3 drawers. Very good condition with a slight darkening in the middle of the table top.
