About the Item

For sale is a good quality Victorian rosewood games table. The table has an inlaid top which swivels and folds over to reveal a chess board and backgammon. Below this is a single fitted drawer, for sewing utensils. This is above a large pullout / pull-out basket. The base of the table has an intricately carved stretcher supported elegant legs, terminating on original castors. The table is in very good condition having been restored by hand using traditional methods. Measures: Width (when closed) 24", width (when open) 36", depth (when closed) 18", depth (when open) 36", height 29".
