Octagonal Rosewood Table, France, 19th Century

About the Item

Side table with octagonal straight board, made of rosewood combined with another tone to enhance the first. The four legs, turned with lines, are joined with a flat rhomboidal chambrane. The decoration has been reduced to enhance the quality of the wood and the clean lines of the furniture, which is why there are no applications in gilded bronze, usual in French furniture.
