About the Item

The long low table - set of extra long single solid wood board & wooden leg parts. The tabletop is a single solid wood board of Magnolia (Hounoki), which was commonly used for Tachidai (tachi-ita / okidai), kimono-sewing table. Made as a product in circa 1900s - 20s (late Meiji - Taisho - early Showa period) estimated from the material & condition. A pair of leg parts are made with traditional wood joinery without metal fastener, sturdy enough for further actual use. Made in circa 1920s - 40s (early Showa period) estimated from the material & condition. *** Dear customer - feel free to inquire me for the shipping fee quote.
