About the Item

One of the best antique French Limoges enamelled plaques , painted on copper, depicting a beautiful woman with three doves , dressed in the Renaissance style with a beautiful peacock blue enamel border . Taken from the Renaissance period and reproduced during the last quarter of the nineteenth century, called the Renaissance Revival period , this rather larger than usual Limoges enamel plaque would grace any interior, be it antique or modern. France circa 1880
