Three small 18th century engravings of fountains at the gardens of Versailles by renowned Parisian engraver Antoine Aveline. All three are presented in simple giltwood frames.
One fountain shows a bronze child representing sovereign power sitting on an eagle which is blowing a jet of water through its beak into the air; another is of a fountain representing the four continents: Africa , Europe America and Asia; the third features three standing puttis playing musical instruments.
