About the Item
View of the city of London.
Dry point etching, Graham Clilverd. 1883-1959.
Studied London Central Arts School during WW 1.
He served as a camouflage artist 1916-1918.
This is one of his early works about 1929, certainly pre WW2.
Lists and numbers the London churches. Numbers slightly faded but legible.
Graham Clilverd exhibited in the Royal Academy, The Paris Salow & the Royal Scottish academy.
There is what appears to be some dust behind the glass in the right hand bottom corner. Would benefit from cleaning out of the frame. The frame has a small split left side.
Fairly good condition.
In its original Oak frame.
