19th Century French Oil on Canvas Painting in Carved Giltwood Frame

This beautiful antique oil on board painting was created in France circa 1830. Set inside its original gold leaf frame, the painting shows a humble peasant mother feeding breakfast to her two children after saying grace in the manner of Chardin.
