About the Item
Decorate a kitchen or a breakfast room wall with this colorful, antique painting. Set in a simple, two-tone fruit wood frame with marquetry work, the oil on canvas painting shows a fruit still life composition which includes melon, grape, apple, pear and cherry. The lush, vibrant composition is set outside in a landscape surrounded with green foliage. The art work is signed in the bottom left corner and dated 1878. The textural painting is in excellent condition with rich colors throughout, and would make a bright, beautiful addition to a kitchen or breakfast nook.
