About the Item
A beautiful composted and wonderfully colored original oil on canvas painting by Aldo Luongo (1941- ) from his widely recognized "Lovers" series (sometimes referred to as Lover's Embrace series).
The painting is signed by Luongo on the canvas.
Aldo Luongo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1941, of Italian heritage. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires in the early 1960s then traveled to the United States to pursue a career in professional soccer staying in New York to pursue art when an injury cut his soccer career short.
Today, Luongo's work can be found in numerous collections and museums including
