About the Item
Antique Danish oil pastel landscape drawing with motive of the lighthouse at the small Danish island Samsø by fields and small hills. The motive is seen from the sea. The water is reflecting the sky, lighthouse and hills in blue, green and brown shades. The colours and lines are well composed and creates a dynamic image.
The drawing is signed in the lower right corner and dated in the lower left corner where it is written “Fyrtårn på Samsø 1938” (Lighthouse at Samsoe 1938). It is framed with glass and a simple, rustic wooden frame.
The drawing is in good condition considering the age. Please see the photos.
