The category Antique Paintings, Landscape Paintings, proposed here is an Oil Painting on Canvas, which captures the new "Pont Neuf" bridge in Paris, an ancient painting from the 19th century.  The ancient work represents the oldest bridge crossing the Seine River in Paris, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. The canvas is signed at lower left P. Sain.  Sain Paul Jean Marie (1853-1908), French painter from Avignon, was a pupil of Guilbert, d'Anelle and Gérome.  Began exhibiting at the Salon Des Artistes Français in 1879, received many awards and medals. In 1889 and again in 1900 he participated in the Universal Exposition in Paris and received a bronze medal. It bears an original and coeval frame to the painting.
