About the Item
A quite beautiful and engaging artist signed vintage California or Arizona oil on board landscape painting featuring a distant mountain range which rising majestically in the background surrounded by loosely gathering sunlit floating storm clouds (just passed perhaps) and a cactus landscape (note the beautiful reflection of the cacti in the water bed in the foreground). It is a striking and meditative image. The colors are quite spectacular.
The work is signed by the artist at lower left.
A new acid free backing was just added for further support
We believe it was likely created in the mid to later 20th century but could be older.
A relatively large painting. Would like quite stunning once framed and be a great addition to any California/Arizona desert/natural landscape art collection or make for an eye catching accent artwork in about any setting.
