Floral Still Life, Oil Painting in Gilded Oak Frame, Late 19th Century

About the Item

Floral Still Life, Oil Painting in Gilded Oak Frame, Late 19th Century This oil painting on canvas, is dating from late 19th to early 20th century. A striking floral still life with a rich interplay of colors : a vibrant yellow daisy adding a luminous touch to the darker, more subdued tones of the bouquet, which likely includes purple hydrangeas. The artwork is framed in an elegant, multi-molded oak frame with a patinated gold finish, complemented by a yellow velvet trim. An original framer’s label (Galerie ROLLIN in the city of Rouen - Normandy) is affixed to the back, adding to its authenticity. Unsigned by the artist. The painting seems to have lost a few colors from a previous framing (on the width line on top and at the bottom).
