A French early 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated Wood wall panel

About the Item

A beautiful and most elegant French early 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated Wood wall panel. This truly stunning rectangular wall decor/plaque is centered by a central medallion of an artist surrounded by his artistic tools accented with laurel vines. The background behind the medallion is made of patinated olive green and detailed with swaging floral and fabric garlands. The inner edges are designed with scrolling foliate patterns and additional hanging laurel vines. Surrounding the olive green central reserve is an additional outer section made with a patinated pink finish. This colorful display of art is framed within a finely carved mottled spiraling patterned frame.
