Signed and dated 1968 on the lower right and on verso with title and date. Christies labels on the stretcher- 10-JAN 07, sale 1786 lot 23. A wonderful view of the crowded beach with some women wearing two-piece bathing suits in the latest style of the day. Some figures are riding the waves or playing in the sand.
Measures: 18 x 24"
carved and gilt frame with thin linen mat 26 x 33 1/2", depth 2 3/4"
Condition:There are some minor finish losses to the frame and some stains on the linen however the painting presents very well.
