Signed “Maciel” at lower right, the piece is finely executed with delicate linework and rich color contrasts. It is set in an ornate carved and gilded wooden frame, featuring ribbed molding and classical foliate motifs. A brass plaque mounted on the frame reads: “Escuela Española – Esmalte a Mano – Siglo XX.”
The reverse bears a round label from Arte Isabelino, S.A. de C.V., indicating it was Made in Mexico—likely produced by skilled artisans working in the stylistic tradition of Spanish enameling.
