Fabulous 1960’s oil on canvas painting of leopards by Henry Sanders 1918-1982. Henry Sanders (Helmuth Salomon) was born into a Jewish family in Germany. In 1933 he left for Holland and then England where he studied at Hornsey College of Art under Russell Reave and John Moody. He exhibited at the Redfern Gallery and Roland Briwse & Delbanco. The Ben Uri collection holds his work in London. There is damage to the side and corners of the canvas where the linen tape is missing but the rest of the canvas is in good original condition with minor scratches. The damage should be visible in the photos.
