coach panel, larger than the norm, oil on board of an armorial centred by a typical shield, drapes and a warriors arm holding a sword, paper labels to the reverse, with the guilders mark and a later hand written label
The painting is likely to be dated from around the start of the 19th and originated from the uk
In all around untouched country house condition, later framed in a birdseye maple frame.
